Asuu strike 2017 update

Fg to hold meeting with Asuu concerning ongoing strike action today Thursday 7th September 2017 while other university workers are to embark on strike Monday11th of September

On Tuesday 5th September 2017 the Association the Academic staff of university union ASUU in Nigeria after shunning the meeting that is to hold between them and the federal government team lead by senator Chris Ngige and minister for education Adamu Adamu last week Tuesday has confirmed that an invitation to the meeting that is scheduled to hold today Thursday was received and they are to honour the invitation though they are not to shift ground on the offer presented to call off the ongoing strike but to iron out issue.
Early this morning to the shock of Nigerian students there was a new information coming in that the other workers association in the Nigerian universities which include Nasu,SSANU,NAAT after a joint action Congress that they are to embark on strike on Monday if the government negligence of them persist.

Yaya Toure has not played for Ivory Coast since the final of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, when he helped Ivory Coast to a penalty shootout victory over Ghana.
